About Springville, AL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Springville is located in St. Clair County, Alabama, approximately 20 miles northeast of Birmingham and 80 miles south of Huntsville. Established in 1877, the city is home to a population of more than 4,000 residents who enjoy the excellent schools, safe streets, and outstanding community amenities that make Springville a great place to live.

Springville is served by the St. Clair County School District and is home to a diverse collection of businesses based largely in manufacturing, construction, and utilities. Low unemployment, affordable housing, and a cost of living index nearly 10% lower than that of the national average continue to draw new residents and businesses to the city each year.

The Springville Parks & Recreation Department maintains and operates three city parks that feature baseball and softball fields, batting cages, a walking track, playground equipment, basketball court, and picnic facilities. Big Springs Park is a popular local fishing spot. The park features a splash pad, picnic facilities, playgrounds, and a small crystal-clear lake fed by the spring for which the town is named.

Springville’s historic downtown is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The downtown district features an eclectic collection of antique shops, arts and crafts stores, and locally owned eateries and is home to the Presley Store, a Springville landmark that bears the only cast-iron exterior in St. Claire County.

Springville is home to Homestead Hollow, an interactive living history center that features a recreated pioneer village with original cabins, an apiary, and general store. The center features live demonstrations of woodcarving, blacksmithing, soap making, and more and is home to the Homestead Hollow Spring Arts and Crafts Festival, a three-day arts extravaganza held each May that features handmade arts and crafts by local artists.

Situated along Interstate 59, just north of metropolitan Birmingham, Springville is a great place to live, work, and raise a family!
